Ethan Hunter Raysor
Ethan Hunter Raysor, a Wilmington native, became interested in ballet while pursuing clarinet studies at Cab Calloway middle school. He enrolled for study with James Zynda at Delaware Dance Company (DDC) where he studied ballet, jazz and modern dance. Ethan’s DDC roles included the “Prince” in Cinderella and several principal roles in The Nutcracker, and many other DDC performances. Currently he is member of First State Ballet Theatre -- under the direction of Pasha and Kristina Kambalov – where he has excelled with performances such as: “Raymonda,” “Paquita,” the “Bluebird Pas de Deux,” as well as “Spanish” and “Pas de Trois Act I” from Swan Lake, and “Lysander” in Midsummer Night’s Dream, all in his last two seasons. When Ethan isn’t dancing, he is an avid reader, gardener, and performer in the Philadelphia area.
